About Imole Army
The people's movement for a brighter, better Osun State
Our Leader
Governor Ademola AdelekeExecutive Governor, Osun State
On November 27, 2022, Governor Adeleke took the oath of office and made a promise: “From education, health, mining, agriculture, road infrastructure, and supply of portable water — it is no longer going to be business as usual.”
In three years, that promise became documented, visible progress. Over 255 kilometres of roads constructed — including roads communities waited 44 years for. Osun surged from 33rd to 7th nationally in education rankings. Domestic debt slashed by ₦65 billion. A motorised borehole in every one of Osun's 332 wards. 50,000+ residents treated through the Imole Surgical Outreach. 23,000 retirees enrolled on free healthcare — the first in all of Nigeria.
He inherited 30 months of half-salary arrears and a ₦76 billion pension liability — and paid over ₦17 billion in pensions and gratuities while implementing a promotion backlog that workers had waited years for. He paid 100% hazard allowance to health workers, making Osun the only state whose health workers did not join the 2023 nationwide strike.
The Imole Army exists to ensure the people of Osun State have four more years of this leadership — and to finish what has been started.

His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke
Executive Governor, Osun State · 2022 – Present
Who We Are
The Imole Army is the organised grassroots campaign structure supporting Governor Ademola Adeleke's 2026 re-election bid in Osun State, Nigeria. We are not just a campaign — we are a movement of passionate Osun patriots committed to building a more prosperous, equitable, and progressive state.
We are teachers, farmers, artisans, engineers, traders, youth leaders, and women leaders. We are the people Governor Adeleke built roads for. The people whose children now attend better schools. The pensioners who received healthcare. The farmers who got tractors and subsidised seedlings. We are Osun people — and we are standing tall with Imole.
“Imole” means light in Yoruba. Governor Adeleke's administration brought light to Osun — literally through the solar street lights on every completed road, and figuratively through the hope, progress, and dignity restored to our people. The Imole Army carries that light forward.

After 44 years of waiting, Governor Adeleke fixed our road. We never thought we would see this day. Smiles have truly returned to Edunabon.

They came to our community, performed surgeries, gave glasses to elders who hadn't seen clearly in years — all for free. The Imole Outreach is a miracle.

I am a retired civil servant. For the first time, I receive my pension without queuing for months. And my healthcare is fully covered. Adeleke did this first in Nigeria.
